Founder, CEO, Master Artist
Meet JoAnn, a highly experienced stylist with 38 years of industry expertise! Her aunt, a salon owner, sparked JoAnn's passion for hair, and she went on to master the art of hairstyling, specializing in sculpting and cutting. As an entrepreneur, JoAnn created Next Level, a salon where stylists can learn, grow, and feel valued. What drives her is fostering growth in others and making every guest feel heard and special. A proud mother of two daughters, Kira and Gianna, and a dog, Bailey, JoAnn loves spending time with her family and enjoys simple pleasures like unwinding by the pool or taking walks with her boyfriend, Jon, and Bailey. She's a fan of good food, with Oak Steakhouse being her go-to restaurant, and enjoys classic entertainment like the movie A Star Is Born and the TV show King of Queens. JoAnn's a Sagittarius with a love for karaoke, belting out "Country Roads" with gusto. With a background from Empire Beauty, JoAnn's dedicated to making her guests feel beautiful inside and out, and she's always smiling when she sees young stylists growing in their careers.
Angela

Meet Angela, a highly experienced stylist with 40 years of industry expertise! Angela's passion lies in connecting with her clients and delivering exceptional results, particularly with dimensional grey coverage. Outside of work, Angela loves to cook and dreams of one day opening her own food truck. She's also an avid traveler, with a special fondness for the Caribbean, and enjoys spending time at her Lake Wallenpaupack home with her two sons and dog, Maggie. Home remodeling and reading are among her favorite hobbies, and she's always on the lookout for new inspiration. Angela loves that the beauty industry is constantly evolving, offering endless opportunities for growth and education. As a Sagittarius, Angela embodies a free-spirited and adventurous nature. When she's not working, Angela enjoys trying out new restaurants - Overboard is a favorite - and catching up on her favorite TV show, Lawmen. Her favorite color is purple, and seeing her children happy brings her immense joy, almost as much as creating fabulous hair for her clients!
Cassie

Cassie graduated from Metro Beauty Academy in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, but that didn’t stop her from becoming a talented and passionate stylist. She specializes in any service that helps her guests feel beautiful, handsome, and confident in their own skin. In addition to working behind the chair at Next Level Hair Design, Cassie leads our Associate Program, where she mentors and teaches new stylists to blossom into confident, skilled professionals. She also travels as an artist, sharing her creativity and expertise beyond the salon. Outside of work, Cassie enjoys golfing, spending time with friends and family, shopping, and expressing her artistic side through painting and drawing. Her artistic talent, leadership, and dedication to both her craft and team make her an invaluable part of the Next Level family.
Karly

Meet Karly, a bright and bubbly addition to the beauty industry! Since 2020, Karly has been on a journey to master her craft, attending The Beauty Institute to hone her skills. What she loves most about her job is the joy she gets from making people feel happy and beautiful. As a Leo, Karly embodies a confident and charismatic spirit. At home, she's surrounded by her beloved pets: Winnie, her loyal dog, and Nunight, her adorable cat. Despite her outgoing personality, Karly has a surprising confession: her biggest fear is people! If Karly were a millionaire, she'd splurge on a stunning beach house in Florida - a dream come true. When she's by the ocean, you can find her collecting seashells and soaking up the sun. Starting her journey in high school, Patty's favorite aspect of her long career is the simple, yet profound, act of making people happy. In her free time, Patty enjoys the tranquility of walks, nurturing her garden, and creating cherished memories while caring for her granddaughter. She also has a great love for dancing! When it comes to entertainment, Rainman is her top movie pick, and her favorite food is undeniably shrimp. Any beach is her happy place, and she frequently travels to North Carolina to visit her son.
Kelsey

Kelsey is a talented stylist with a passion for making people smile. Since 2012, she's been perfecting her craft, attending Polytech to get started. What she loves most about the industry is building connections and empowering women to feel their best. As a Pisces, Kelsey embodies a compassionate and creative spirit. At home, she's surrounded by her two kids, two cats, and one dog. With 9 tattoos under her belt, Kelsey is a self-expression enthusiast. Her biggest fear is drowning, but if she were a millionaire, she'd live life to the fullest - getting more tattoos and living on a farm surrounded by animals. On her ideal day off, Kelsey loves to unwind outdoors, whether that's gardening or listening to audiobooks. She's a fan of country music, particularly Zach Bryan, and enjoys comfort foods like baked potatoes. Meet Steph, a true legend in the hair industry with over 45 years of experience! With a career spanning decades, Steph has seen it all and has a wealth of knowledge to share. What she loves most about her job is her clients - they're the highlight of her day. When she's not working, Steph's heart belongs to her family: her daughter, two grandkids, and her furry companion. Her granddaughter Cora is especially dear, always managing to put a smile on Steph's face. As a Leo, Steph embodies a warm and generous spirit. This self-proclaimed foodie loves trying new eats in Easton and enjoys a good movie or book (she can't choose just one favorite!). Steph is also a sports enthusiast, cheering on her beloved Phillies and Mets, and can often be found soaking up the sun at the beach or sipping on a perfectly crafted martini.

Introducing Jen, a passionate stylist specializing in haircutting, with a particular knack for men's cuts. Jen loves this industry because she learns something new from every guest and truly values her coworkers. Outside the salon, she's all about adventure and relaxation: you can find her enjoying time spent at the beach or a lake, going to concerts, getting tattoos, or simply spending quality time with her dog. Jen is also a big fan of changing up her own hair, showing her love for transformation! When it comes to entertainment, she'll happily watch Pitch Perfect or Goodfellas and enjoys all kinds of music. Jen doesn't watch many sports, but, she's an avid Eagles fan! Jen loves to travel, she wants to visit every state before she is 30.

Jules' journey in the beauty industry began in high school at Hunterdon County Polytech, where she discovered her passion for creative expression. What she loves most about the industry is the versatility it offers - the ability to find your niche while still exploring different avenues. As a Gemini, Jules embodies a curious and adaptable nature. At home, she's accompanied by her adorable cat, Moon. Jules is also a tattoo enthusiast, with many already under her belt and plans for more. On the flip side, she's not a fan of bugs - they're her biggest fear! If Jules were to become a millionaire, she'd splurge on either an old Victorian house or a salon - both her passions. On her ideal day off, you'd find Jules antiquing or picnicking with her boyfriend. Olyvia is a talented and passionate individual who's been part of the Next Level family for a year. With three years of hair practice under her belt, courtesy of Warren County Technical School, she's now taking her skills to the next level as a co-artist, guided by Cassie. What drives Olyvia is her love for making people feel confident and happy. Outside of work, she's a dog mom to Stella and Bynx, and you can find her soaking up the sun at the beach on a beautiful day. Her favorite movie is Tangled, and when she's not working. A Cancer by zodiac sign, Olyvia's all about spreading joy and confidence through her work. You can also find her enjoying a great meal at her favorite restaurant, Oak Steak House in Easton.
Christina

Christina has been with Next Level for 4 wonderful years. With over 20 years in the customer service industry, she's brought her exceptional people skills to the beauty world, greeting guests and making them feel at home. What brings a smile to her face? Seeing returning guests, especially when they leave with a fresh new look - it's a joy she loves to witness. As an Aquarius, Christina embodies a free-spirited and compassionate nature. At home, Christina is surrounded by a lively crew: 4 kids, 1 grandkid, and a lot of pets. While she doesn't watch TV, she's got a soft spot for the movie House Bunny and loves getting lost in a good book, like The Velveteen Rabbit.

Introducing Alina, the newest addition to our Next Level family. With a fresh degree in Business from Penn State, Alina is excited to dive into our creative world and learn from our talented artists. As a Taurus, Alina embodies determination and creativity. What brings a smile to her face? Time with her lovely niece and family, as well as breathtaking skies and sunsets. At home, Alina shares her space with two beloved pets: Champ, her rescued dog, and Colby Jack, her adorable cat. Her favorite movie is Interstellar, and she's also a fan of TV shows like New Girl and Law & Order: SVU. You can also find her enjoying delicious Cuban cuisine at Mambo's in Union, NJ - her favorite restaurant!

With two decades of experience, Nancy discovered her passion for makeup through Mary Kay. She takes great joy in enhancing her clients' natural beauty with her exceptional makeup skills. Believing that everyone is inherently beautiful, she specializes in natural makeup. When she's not working, Nancy enjoys golfing, spending time with her family, listening to podcasts, and gardening. Her favorite food is salmon, and she loves to unwind with a glass of Chardonnay.
