Jo Ann “Jo Jo”
Founder, CEO, Level 5 Artist
From a young age, JoAnn was captivated by the world of hair. Watching her aunt, a salon owner, sparked a lifelong passion that led her to master the art of hairstyling, specializing in sculpting and cutting. This passion also fueled her dream of becoming an entrepreneur and creating Next Level. What truly drives Jo Jo is fostering growth in others, striving to make her salon a place where stylists can learn, feel valued, and grow not just as professionals but as individuals, and she feels incredibly blessed to have such an amazing team. Her favorite part of the industry is making every guest feel heard and special. When she's not at the salon, Jo Jo cherishes time with her two wonderful daughters, Kira and Gianna, and her dog, Bailey; you might find her unwinding by the pool, enjoying her favorite book, The Five Agreements, or taking walks with her boyfriend, Jon, and Bailey. She's a fan of the simple pleasures, with a burger and sweet potato fries being her go-to meal, and for entertainment, she enjoys the movie A Star Is Born and the TV show King of Queens.
Lindsey
Level 4 Artist
Lindsey is a seasoned stylist with over 30 years of experience and a true passion for color. What she loves most about the industry is the opportunity to meet and connect with so many different people, making each day unique and rewarding. Outside of the salon, Lindsey enjoys peaceful morning walks, spending time at the beach during the summer, and being surrounded by nature. She’s a fan of classic films — with Coming to America as her all-time favorite — and her go-to favorites include tacos and a glass of Pinot Grigio. Lindsey’s warmth, experience, and love for her craft make her a cherished part of the Next Level Hair Design team.
Cassie
Level 4 Artist
Cassie graduated from Metro Beauty Academy in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, but that didn’t stop her from becoming a talented and passionate stylist. She specializes in any service that helps her guests feel beautiful, handsome, and confident in their own skin. In addition to working behind the chair at Next Level Hair Design, Cassie leads our Associate Program, where she mentors and teaches new stylists to blossom into confident, skilled professionals. She also travels as an artist, sharing her creativity and expertise beyond the salon. Outside of work, Cassie enjoys golfing, spending time with friends and family, shopping, and expressing her artistic side through painting and drawing. Her artistic talent, leadership, and dedication to both her craft and team make her an invaluable part of the Next Level family.
Karly
Level 4 Artist
With over five years of expertise, Karly is a master of blonding, dedicated to making every client feel their absolute best. Her greatest satisfaction comes from the vibrant energy of a busy day in the salon and seeing the smiles on her clients' faces as they admire her work. Beyond the chair, Karly enjoys unwinding with a captivating book like Throne of Glass or catching up on her favorite shows, often with her furry companions—Winnie the dog and her two cats—by her side. Karly loves to explore, with Cape May holding a special place in her heart and Greece being her ultimate dream vacation.
Patty
Level 4 Artist
Introducing Patty, a seasoned stylist whose passion for color has illuminated the hair industry for 40 years! Starting her journey in high school, Patty's favorite aspect of her long career is the simple, yet profound, act of making people happy. In her free time, Patty enjoys the tranquility of walks, nurturing her garden, and creating cherished memories while caring for her granddaughter. She also has a great love for dancing! When it comes to entertainment, Rainman is her top movie pick, and her favorite food is undeniably shrimp. Any beach is her happy place, and she frequently travels to North Carolina to visit her son.
Angela
Level 4 Artist
Angela, a stylist with 40 years of industry experience, is passionate about connecting with her clients and excels at dimensional grey coverage. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and dreams of opening a food truck, traveling to the Caribbean, and spending time at her Lake Wallenpaupack home with her two sons and dog, Maggie. Her hobbies also include home remodeling and reading, all while her favorite color remains purple.
Kelsey
Level 4 Artist
Meet Kelsey, a seasoned stylist who's been perfecting blonding since 2012. For Kelsey, the heart of the industry is all about women supporting women—a philosophy she truly lives by! Outside the salon, she's a devoted mom to her son, with a baby girl on the way, and a lover of all things outdoors, from gardening to reading a good book (the Harry Potter series is a favorite!). You might find her unwinding with Schitt's Creek or enjoying her favorite meal, breakfast, especially if it involves heading out for a bite with loved ones. Kelsey's happy place is Long Beach Island, NJ, and she jams out to Zach Bryan and country music. Her go-to comfort food is a baked potato (if she has to pick!), and her Starbucks order is a Venti Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade.
Stephanie
Level 3 Artist/Guest Relations
​Meet Stephanie, a true cornerstone of the hair industry with over 45 years of experience! Her lifelong love for hair is matched only by her passion for the people she meets and works alongside every day. When Stephanie isn't creating beautiful styles, she cherishes time spent with her family, including her daughter, three wonderful grandkids, and her beloved dog. A big sports fan, you'll find her cheering on her favorite baseball teams, the Phillies and the Mets, or catching a football game. She also loves to frequent the beach and, as a self-proclaimed food enthusiast, enjoys going out to eat and trying all kinds of delicious foods — especially when paired with a perfectly made martini!
Jen
Level 1 Artist/Social Media Manager
Introducing Jen, a passionate stylist specializing in haircutting, with a particular knack for men's cuts. Jen loves this industry because she learns something new from every guest and truly values her coworkers. Outside the salon, she's all about adventure and relaxation: you can find her enjoying time spent at Lake Wallenpaupack, going to concerts, or simply spending quality time with her dog. Jen is also a big fan of changing up her own hair, showing her love for transformation! When it comes to entertainment, she'll happily watch Pitch Perfect or Goodfellas and enjoys all kinds of music. Her favorite food is tacos, and she's an avid Eagles fan! Jen loves to travel, and her dream vacation is experiencing the cherry blossom trees in Japan.
Jules

Meet Jules, a fresh talent specializing in vivids and alternative hair. A recent graduate of Hunterdon County Poly Tech, Jules thrives on creativity and her exceptional listening skills ensure every client's vision comes to life. She's always changing up her own hair, a true testament to her adventurous spirit! When she's not creating stunning transformations, Jules loves exploring antique stores, hitting the beach, and spending time with friends and her boyfriend. You might also find her enjoying Chase Atlantic's music, getting new tattoos, and putting salt on just about everything! Jules is eager to take on more clients seeking bold, vivid color transformations.
Christina
Guest Relations Manager
Christina, a seasoned Washington native and customer service professional, thrives on making others feel valued and supported. When not expertly managing daily operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences, she finds fulfillment in creating a positive impact on the lives of those she interacts with. Outside of work, Christina enjoys an active lifestyle, spending quality time with her children, challenging herself at the gym, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and embracing the outdoors.
Olyvia
Guest Relations/Assistant
Meet Olyvia, the newest addition to the Next Level family! She's currently honing her skills as a cosmetology student at Warren County Tech, with her sights set on a dynamic career in the beauty industry upon graduation. Olyvia is excited by the hands-on nature of the beauty world, the opportunity to express her creativity, and the joy of seeing guests transform their appearance. When she's not at school or working, Olyvia loves spending time with friends, doing nails, and listening to music. She dreams of vacationing in Italy or Paris, her favorite movie is Tangled, and her go-to treat is chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream! Olyvia is incredibly excited to continue learning and growing both at Next Level and in cosmetology school.
Nancy
Senior Makeup Artist
With two decades of experience, Nancy discovered her passion for makeup through Mary Kay. She takes great joy in enhancing her clients' natural beauty with her exceptional makeup skills. Believing that everyone is inherently beautiful, she specializes in natural makeup. When she's not working, Nancy enjoys golfing, spending time with her family, listening to podcasts, and gardening. Her favorite food is salmon, and she loves to unwind with a glass of Chardonnay.
