Lindsey
Artist (level 4)
Lindsey has been with the salon from the inception. With almost thirty years of experience perfecting her trade she is a wealth of knowledge and creativity. She is a true professional versed in all aspects of the profession with exceptional skills in the areas of color and lightening services. Lindsey gets fulfillment from being creative with color techniques and loves building personal relationships with her clients and guest of the salon. A perfect night would have her enjoying a good tuna steak and watching her favorite movie Dirty Dancing. When not working Lindsey loves spending time poolside, taking walks, sharing in art projects with her daughter and watching her boys compete in wrestling matches and bowling competitions.
Jo Ann “Jo Jo”
Founder, CEO, Artist (level 5)
Jo Ann, a native of Washington, New Jersey began her career at a local salon where she fell in love with her craft. After fifteen years of building a loyal following Jo Ann decided she wanted more. She wanted to create a special experience for each guest. The way to accomplish this was to open her own salon where she had complete control over the process, the education, and the guest’s experience. In 2004 that dream became a reality when she launched Sensations Salon & Spa which was later reestablished in 2020 a Next Level Hair Designs. Over the year’s Jo Ann has built an amazing following and is well-respected by her peers and most importantly her guests. After thirty-two years Jo Ann has an even greater passion for her profession. She is dedicated to lifelong learning, keeping herself informed on the industries latest products, techniques, and regulations. When Jo Ann is not behind the chair, studying her craft, or building lasting relationships she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym, enjoying nature, and inspiring others.
Cassie
Artist (level 4)
Cassie, although newer to the trade has had a love and passion for the hair and beauty industry for years. She loves challenges and welcomes the opportunity for continued growth through education. Cassie loves making her guests feel great especially after transforming someone’s hair into their dream hair. If you’ve checked out or social pages, chances are the images you saw where taken by Cassie. She is a super fan of anything Disney, enjoys hiking, traveling, as well as doing arts & crafts projects.
Patty
Artist (level 4)
Patty has been changing people’s appearances for over four decades and has developed a great following during that time. She finds fulfillment in seeing her client’s excitement with their transformation. Patty especially loves performing highlights and Balayage treatments. Her favorite book is the Farmer’s Almanac due to her interest in the weather. When Patty is not working you will find her spending time with her family & friends, cooking, baking, or making holiday candy.
Angela
Artist (level 4)
Angela, a seasoned professional with thirty-five years’ experience perfecting her craft is well-versed in the difficult science of color, the art of corrective color, and complete make overs. She loves connecting with people and being a part of her client’s significant milestones. Angela believes beauty comes from within and her goal is to make each of her client’s feel beautiful on both the inside and out. Continued education allows Angela to keep up with trends, techniques, and products allowing her to offer an excellent service and experience for her clients. Away from the salon Angela finds happiness spending time with her husband, refinishing furniture or enjoying days at the beach or lake.
Stephanie
Artist/Guest Relations (level 3)
Stephanie is a true professional always striving to offer her clients and the guest of the salon the best experience possible. Stephanie has been perfecting her trade for over forty years with some of her clients being with her from day on. This is testament to Stephanie’s “it’s all about the guest” motto towards service. Stephanie is a jack of all trades and when she is not practicing her skills, she is helping with various tasks from greeting guests to ensuring the cleanliness of the salon. Stephanie loves seafood, spending time with her granddaughter, and having a houseful of people on the weekend at her home on Mountain Lake.
Gillian
Artist (level 3)
Gillian has been performing her craft for over two years and believes her top talent is performing highlights. What she enjoys most about her career is communicating with her clients, having the ability to be creative and making them feel beautiful. When Gillian is not sharpening her skills at the salon she enjoys shopping, the outdoors, and spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs.
Nancy
Senior Makeup Artist
Nancy’s found her calling two decades ago when she transitioned from the corporate world into her dream career of a makeup artist which allowing her to express her creative talents while educating others on the science and art of cosmetics. Nancy fell in love with making women feel beautiful and confident through enhancing their natural beauty. When Nancy is not practicing her talent, you can find her spending time with her friends and family, golfing, or reading a good book.
Christina
Guest Relations Manager
Christina is a seasoned customer service professional who enjoys meeting new people. She is fulfilled by making others feel good about themselves. When she is not taking care of guests or handling the daily operations you can find Christina spending time with her kids, enjoying the outdoors, cooking, reading a book on history or watching a thriller movie.
Sammie Fay
Guest Relations Specialist
Sammie loves meeting new people and making a connection with them. She is a problem solver and values learning from her experiences. Her favorite food are bagels and when she is not greeting guests with her inviting smile and tending to their needs she spends time with her friends, watching movies and traveling.
Devyn
Apprentice
Devyn is the most recent addition to the NLHD family. Although new to the trade she has an endless passion for the beauty industry, she loves getting to know people and make them feel their best. When Devyn is not working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and playing with her cat.
Juliana
Guest Services/Associate
"Jules" is the most recent addition to the NLHD family. She is currently in school studying cosmetology with a goal of pursuing a career in the beauty industry. Jules’s strengths are being creative and her listening skills. When she is not at school or working she enjoys working out and spending time with her friends
Bailey
"The Greeter"
Bailey loves people, belly rubs, having his picture taken, and most importantly getting treats. When he isn't busy greeting guests he enjoys dozing off in his bed dreaming of his next meal. Unfortunately, Bailey only makes guest appearances or comes in for special occasions.
